Charles Mathias Rothove

Charles Mathias Rothove, 88, died Saturday May 14 at Hillcrest Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a former resident of Carrollton.

Mr Rothove was born November 11, 1888 in Saint Louis, the son of Bernard and Margaret Schepers Rothove. He was married to the former Cornelia Rothove.

Mr. Rothove attended St. Louis schools and later took up the occupation of farming. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Carrollton.

Survivors include two sons, Francis Rothove, Kensett, Ia., and Charles Rothove, Yukon, Okla.; two daughters Mrs. Cornelia Wimmer, Pinole Ca., and Mrs Marie Kerby, Bogard; 25 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by two daughters, a son and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services willbe conducted at 10a.m. Wednesday at the St. Mary's Church, Carrollton by the Rev. Francis Bachnak. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Gibson-Rice Chapel in Bogard. A rosary will be said Tuesday night at 8 o'clock at the chapel.
