She married FRANCIS "FRANK" SYLVESTER MARBLE April 15, 1883 in Salmon Creek, Clark County, Washington, son of ANSIL MARBLE and LOUVISA GREEN. He was born January 18, 1858 in Salmon Creek, Clark County, Washington, and died January 10, 1919 in Salmon Creek, Clark County, Washington.

DEATH CALLS SARAH MARBLE

Ending a residence of 71 years here, Mrs. Sarah A. Marble, 2914 Drummond str., Vancouver, died at her home yesterday at the age of 81 years. Born October 26, 1863, at Wraxter, Ontario, Canada, Mrs. Marble came to the United States at the age of ten. She came from San Francisco to Portland on the sailboat Ajax in 1873 to join her father at Brush Prairie and has lived in Clark county every since. She was a member of the United Brethren church.

Survivors include Mrs. Pearl Smithline and Mrs. Ina Archer both of Vancouver, who are daughters; Vivian E., Harry E., Clyde A., Albert G., of Vancouver, and Vernon W., of Portland, who are sons; Arthur Pender of Vancouver, and John Pender of Brush Prairie, who are brothers; Mrs. Susan Calley, Mrs. Cora Tenney, Mrs. Bell Gray, Mrs. Crystal Burke and Mrs. Minnie Vaughn, all of Portland, Mrs. Laura Auldridge of Vancouver and Mrs. Clara Hostettler of DeLake, Ore., who are sisters. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The body is at Vancouver Funeral Chapel pending funeral at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel followed by interment in Park Hill cemetery.
