Sister of George A. Corbin, William Langley Corbin, Everett A. Corbin, Emma Milne Corbin, and Mary Jane Beebe "Minnie" Corbin.
Died at age 23.
A letter written by her father, George Allen Corbin, from Bridgewater, N.S. dated April 13, 1882 describes Phebe's funeral in detail: "She had the largest funeral ever seen in Bridgewater. She was laid out in a white cashmere dress trimmed with white satin. The casket was a magnificent one. When the coffin was carried into the church it was covered with flowers placed by her friends. Five clergymen took part in the service..as well as the full church choir. We had a full service in the house, a full service in the church and at the grave. She was only ill four months and died of a galloping consumption (TB). The doctors could do nothing to save her".
