Youngest Daughter of Hiram Eugene Braswell Sr and Susan Elizabeth Radcliff (Ratliff ) Braswell ---she married William Lindsay Foster who pre desceased her ( 1922-2008 ) She taught Elemetery school Education in South Carolina and North Carolina for 37 years last teaching at Balfour Elem School Henderson Co NC WNC.
She is buried there in the Braswell Plot as of Nov 24 2008 next to her father Hiram Eugene Braswell Sr per her wishes.

Sarah Braswell Foster, 86, of Hendersonville, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008.
She was born May 26, 1922, the youngest daughter of the late Hiram Eugene Braswell and Susan Elizabeth Radcliff Braswell, of McFarlan, Anson County, NC. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Lindsay Foster, Sr. in March, 2008 and three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Braswell Coltrane, Edith Merle Braswell Green and Madra Catherine Braswell Duncan, her brother, Hiram Eugene Braswell, Jr. and her infant daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Foster. She attended and graduated from the North Carolina Public Schools in Anson County and went on to graduate from Western Carolina Teachers College in Cullowhee where she met her husband, William Foster, Sr. She went on to teach in the Public School system of Greenville County, SC and Henderson County. She last taught for many years at Balfour Elementary School in Henderson County. She retired after thirty-seven years to live in Hendersonville.

She is survived by her son, William Lindsay Foster, Jr. and his wife, Brenda Rice Foster, her grandson, Michael William Foster and his wife, Karey Anne Foster, three great-grandsons, Matthew, Mark and Luke Foster; her sister, Hellen Claire Braswell Kozel; nephew, David Vincent Duncan and Raymond Coltrane; nieces, Claire Elizabeth Kozel and Susan C. Lowance and grand-nieces.

Graveside service 2:00p.m., Monday, November 24, 2008 in the Morven Cemetery, Morven, NC. The Reverend Larry King will officiated
