Priscilla Ray Parrish, age 74 of Jonesboro died Saturday January 21, 2017. She was born in Statesboro, Georgia to the late Edgar Ray and Virginia Marie Hammock Akins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Kelly Parrish, and two sons, Samuel Kelly Parrish, Jr., and Phillip David Parrish.
Ms. Parrish is survived by her daughter, Karen (John David) Mullins; grandchildren, Katherine Cooper (Oliver) Dunatov, James H. Cooper III, and Priscilla Lauren Cooper; great-grandson, Nicolas Dunatov; sisters, Olivia Deal, and Rebecca Yundt.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
