Mrs. Anna Clarke Murray, wife of Steven Murray, died very suddenly this morning about seven o'clock. She arose early and had just finished a large washing and was about to start for the Oxford Hotel, whom she suddenly fell ill and sat down on her doorstep.
Calling for aid, she passed away before she could be removed to her bedroom. Heart trouble was the cause.
Mrs. Murray is a daughter of Mrs. Christina McCurdy and was raised here. No funeral arrangements have been made as yet.
