Of Carrollton Died at the Home of His Son in Lexington, Ky.
Carrollton, Ky., Jan. 16.--- The body of John J. hanks, who died at the home of his son, "Cy" Hanks, in Lexington, was brought here this afternoon for burial. Funeral services will be held at the Christian church Friday morning.
Mr. Hanks was a native of Carroll county, and was eighty-three years old. For sixty years he had been a member of the Whites Run Christian church. His wife died about two years ago. Besides his son he leaves a step-daughter, Mrs. John W. Davis, of this city.
