MR. CLOVIS STOWERS, 77, of Hamlin, WV, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 1992, at his home after a long illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1992, at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, by the Rev. John Losh. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Park, Hamlin. He was born Jan. 20, 1915, in Hager, WV, a son of the late Arthur and Vesta Wilson Stowers. He was a member of the Central Methodist Church at Hamlin. He was retired from Lovejoy House of Furniture, Hamlin Electric Co. and was a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Stowers; two daughters, Floy Mae Adkins of Sias and Joyce Ann Adkins of Salt Rock; a special niece, Anna Marie Galloway of Weirton; three granddaughters; a grandson; and two grandnieces, Stacy and Kelly. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin.
