Roy Alderson, aged 76, of Route 1, Lamar died Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Johnson County Hospital.
A native of Johnson County, he was a retired farmer and timberman.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ollie Clark Alderson; four
Daughters, Mrs. Hettie Johnson of Richmond, Calif., Mrs. Evelyn Owens of El Cerrito, Calif., Mrs. Eveydean Hollis of Milpitas, Calif., and Mrs. Margaret Childers of Van Buren; three sons, James Alderson and Raymond Alderson, both of Lamar and Lee Alderson of Hagarville; two sisters, Mrs. Katie Hamzy of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Selma Brown of Russellville; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Burial was in Holman Cemetery.
