Bonnie Eula White, of Long Creek, died Nov. 3, 2006, at Country Spice Residential Care Facility. She was 90.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 9, 2006, at the Long Creek Community Church, with Pastor Dale Sherman officiating. Interment will follow at the Long Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. White was born July 18, 1916, in Long Creek to Hubert and Bertha Kahler. She attended Long Creek High School and later graduated beauty college. She married Ernest White on June 25, 1934 in Pendleton.
Mrs. White ran a tavern with her brother, Buster. Later, she and her father ran a movie theater, while she continued working as a beautician.
She enjoyed giving piano lessons. She studied and learned ventriloquism, with which she shared the gospel of Jesus to children and adults alike. She taught adult Sunday school and various other church activities for several years.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Woods, of Pendleton; daughter, Judy DeWolf, and her husband, Ross, of Long Creek; two grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
