Ruth A. Harvey, 91, died June 16 in Tucson, Ariz. Harvey, a native of Marcellus, lived many years in Phoenix, Ariz., before returning to Marcellus in 1976. She was a precision inspector for Air-Cooled Motors in Liverpool and for Air Research in Phoenix, Ariz. Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Sims of Tucson, Ariz.; a son, Hollis Abbott of Marcellus; a brother, Harris Walker of Lake Ronkonkoma; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in South Onondaga Cemetery, South Onondaga. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Hospice, 1601 W. St. Mary's Road, Tucson, Ariz. 85745. Norris Funeral Home, Marcellus, has charge of arrangements.

Note: Mrs. Harvey was a descendant of early settlers of Marcellus and her grandfather, Warren Smith Walker, operated a plaster mill in Marcellus Falls in the mid-1800s. She was the widow of Carl A. Abbott who died in 1940 and Howard J. Harvey who died in 1971.
