After attending local schools Mrs. Puckhaber relocated to Charleston, SC in 1947. She was a homemaker and caregiver most of her life. She worked for a short time in communications at the Charleston Air Force Base in the 1950's.

In her younger years, Mrs. Puckhaber was an avid gardener and known for her love of preparing large family meals. She enjoyed many hobbies including painting, needle craft and also spent countless hours fishing, crabbing, and enjoying Charleston outdoor life.

Daughter of,
Adam Henry Komorowski and Veronica Mary Brennan Komorowski.
Survived by;
3 Stepsons and their families, Martin L. Puckhaber, III, Alan Puckhaber, and Eugene Puckhaber, her Granddaughter, Annette Bell Murphy and her husband Joseph Murphy,
A Favorite nephew and his wife, David and Judy Lyle
A very special daughter & son, Jeanne Holladay and Charlie Pickett

Husband, Martin Luther Puckhaber, Jr., married in 1961 at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.
