Mrs. Octie Elmira West, 95, Athens, died Friday at the Athens-Limestone Hospital.
The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Elzie Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Athens City Cemetery.
Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Sarah Ola Ferguson, Mrs. Flona Baugher, Mrs. Flossie Ferrell Norton, Mrs. Edith Mae Powers, Mrs. Mellnee Roland, all of Athens, Mrs. Maudell Adams of Nashville and Mrs. Kathleen Hallum of Geneva, Ohio; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
