Mrs. Ray was born September 25, 1918 in Sulphur Springs, TX. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred S. Ray, Jr.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald W. and Mary Lynn Ray of Marble Falls, TX and Douglas Ray of Texarkana, TX, one sister, Edna Norton of Texarkana, TX, three granddaughters, Angela Lynn and Mark Dalziell of Arroy Grande, CA, Nicole and Manuel Alvarez of Houston, TX and Leslie Ray of Austin, TX, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday at 1 P.M. at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Sims officiating. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
