Etta Vantrece, nicknamed Tootsie, was the only girl born to Oliver W. and Fannie(Brown) Vantrece, May 10, 1900 in Butler, Missouri. She had five brothers, Login Kitchens, Harry VanTrece, Charles VanTrece, Mack VanTrece and William VanTrece. Later the family move to Paola, Kansas where she met and married John E. Lindsey, May 5, 1918. Blessed to this union were three children, Fannie Marian, Willie Eva and Berdell Earl Lindsey.
