Paul was a WW2 army vetern. Services were held in Ripperdan funeral home in Mulberry Grove by Dallas Newby and buried in Noffsinger Cemetary. Born in Fayette county, son of James and Mary Matheny he married Dorothy Ellis in Keyesport on Nov 12, 1949. Besides his widow, he was survived by a daughters Shirley Beechler, wife of Robert, Sandy Gasser, wife of Gerald, and Sharon Dann, wife of Kenneth.He also left eight grandkids. He had three brothers and a sister. Wesley of Keysport. Wade of Fort Worth Fla, Hoke of Pullman Mich and Mrs Irma Jaren(?) of Baldwin Mo. Preceeding him in death were a son Irvin, a daughter Sheila and a granddaughter Bobbie Jo Beechler
