OBITUARY :
PAUL H. BYER, 807 Hamilton Boulevard, died suddenly on Monday afternoon of complications, aged 61 years.

The deceased was well known for his long association with the Potomac Edison Co, having served as a mechanical engineer for the utility for 35 years.

He was born in Hagerstown son of Edgar H. and Clara Humrichouse Byer. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Izaak Walton League and the Masonic Order.

He is survived by a son, Rev. Paul Byer of Wyomissing, Pa.

The body was removed to the A. K. Coffman funeral home where it may be viewed until noon on Thursday when it will be taken to Zion United Church of Christ with services there a 3:30 o'clock with the Rev. Dr. Scott R. Wagner officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The casket will not be opened in the church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Heart Associate of Washington County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening after 7 o'clock.
