He was a native of Lucedale and a retired owner of the Central Produce Company in Hattiesburg. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Hattiesburg. He died July 27 in Jackson.
Survivors include a son, Quinton D. Dickers, Jr. of Ridgeland; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister Nelda McLeod and a brother Billy Dickerson, both of Lucedale.
Services were conducted by Rev. Larry Burch. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery with Sigler "Fails" Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
