Dixie Griffith, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in an Albuquerque, NM hospital following a surgery.
Dixie was born in Silver City, NM on May 3, 1938 to James and Dealva Duke.
In 1956, she married the love of her life, Henry Griffith, in Socorro, NM and had three children. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Dixie retired from Levi Strauss, but continued to work. For the last several years she worked for Harry’s Alignment & Brakes, which is owned by her son Harry.
Waiting in Heaven to welcome her home are her parents, James and Dealva Duke, her beloved husband Henry Griffith and her brother Edwin Duke.
