Roger Lewis Dahl, 83, of Paris passed away Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, at his residence.
A graveside service has been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at Chicota Cemetery with the Rev. Dorothy Dahl officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
No visitation has been scheduled.
He was born March 8, 1923, to Martin and Florance Colby Dahl in Strum, Wis. He served in the United State Army during World War II, earning a Purple Heart. He retired from the Civil Service at Sheppard Air Force Base. He married Roma McEwin on Aug. 17, 1951.
He was preceded in death by a son, Rusty L. Dahl.
He is survived by his wife; their son, Kevin L. Dahl and wife, Michelle, of Mesquite; a brother, Alfred Dahl and wife, Dorothy, of Fort Worth.
