Word reached this city on Monday of the death of Nathan S. Groh, at Omaha, Nebraska. He was 65 years of age, and his demise is attributed to a general debility which developed during the past year. The decdeased was born and raised in Buffalo Springs, this county, and left about 35 years ago. He was engaged as a merchant in the west, and did a prosperous business. He is survived by a widow, nee Jennie Jones, a sister of James K. Jones, former chairman of the National Democratic committee, and the following brothers and sisters: A. S. Groh, Buffalo Springs; Rev. Dr. John Shenk, Dixon, Ill., Mrs. Elizabeth Eberly, Iona. [Lebanon Semi Weekly News, November 13, 1905, Page 1]

The funeral of Nathan Groh, late, of Omaha, Neb., took place from the home of A. S. Groh, of Buffalo Springs, a brother to the deceased, on Saturday morning. Services were held in the Lutheran church, Revs. M. F. Good and A. J. Bachman officiating, and interment was made in the family burial lot in the local cemetery. The funeral was largely attended.
