Capt. Thomas Lindsay Drane (USA ret.) 69, of Memphis died Wednesday, November 20, at Memphis Veterans Medical Center. He was a World War II and Korean War veteran, and received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star in 1944 and the Air Medal in 1952.

He was a member of Al Chymia Shrine Temple and the Masons. He served in the 196th Field Artillery Tennessee National Guard.

Mr. Drane, the husband of Elnora M Drane, also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Janie Drane McNabb of Blacksburg, VA; a sister, Mrs. Martha Caroline Barnett of Montgomery, AL; two brothers, Vernon G. Drane of Memphis and William H. Drane of Pensacola, FL, a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
