"It is with sad hearts that we chronicle the death of Mrs. Fannie Russell, wife of Lawyer T.B. Russell, which sad event occurred at their home in Oneonta, Tuesday afternoon. She had been in ill health for several months, but was thought to be improving until Sunday night, when very suddenly she became worse, became unconscious, from which condition she never rallied. The cause of her death was something like nervous prostration. She was a good christian woman and Mr. Russell has the sympathy of the entire community in his great bereavement."

Oneonta, December 12. – (Special)-Mrs. Russell, wife of Attorney T. B. Russell, died yesterday after a "few days" illness. She was a woman of lovely disposition and was esteemed by all who knew her. She was the daughter of former Circuit Clerk John A. Dean, who now resides in Texas.
