Funeral services for Ray E. Harper, 91, of Colorado Springs will be held at the First Southern Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Wednesday.Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.Mr. Harper died July 8, 2001, at Colorado Springs.He was born May 30, 1910, to John Tom and May (Bean) Harper at Keats, Kan.He is survived by his wife Ola E. Sliger Harper, children Joyce England of Las Animas, Dale Harper of Colorado Springs, Nelda Ridley and Helen McClure, both of La Junta, Shirley Glass of Hutchinson, Kan., and Joan Henson of Rio Rancho, N.M.; sister Ruby Causey, 22 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by brothers Leo, Dewey, Carl, Dock and Perey Harper and sisters Lula Cibuski and Irma Hostler.Peacock-Larsen funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
