Funeral for Mrs. Joseph G. LAKENAN, 81, was to be conduced at 5 p.m. today in Laughter chapel with the Rev. J. O. HAYMES, pastor of the St. Paul Methodist church, officiating.
Mrs. LAKENAN died Monday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Abdon HOLT, 340 Hickory. She had made her home with Mrs. HOLT since 1933, following the death of her husband in Mexico, Mo.
She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Owen ELLIS of Abilene and Mrs. Ada F. MILLER of Anadarko, Okla.; and two nephews, Charles M. HOLT of Amarillo and Abdon HOLT of Lubbock.
Pallbearers at the services were to be Boyce BARNARD, George McCANN, Homer SCOTT, W. F. WILSON, Will D. MINTER and Hugh H. KENNEDY.
Burial was to be in the Masonic cemetery.
