MR. BOWEN

VALLEY --- Mr. Desmond Clyde Bowen, 81, of Valley died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 1996 at his residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 29 at 2 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with the rev. J. H. King and Chaplain Lanita Cotney officiating. burial will follow in Langdale Cemetery in Valley.

Mr. Bowen is survived by his daughter, Susan Coleman of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; his son, Rodney Darryl Bowen of Oak ridge, Tenn; two sisters, Flo McEachern and Lois Holmes both of Valley; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.

Born Dec. 13 1914, in Milltown, Mr. Bowen was a member of Langdale United Methodist Church in Valley. He was a Free masonry in Knoxville, Tenn. and Valley Masonic Lodge 516. Mr. Bowen was a retired employee of Union Carbine Co., with more had 32 years of service. He had lived in the Valley area most of his life.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial may be made to one's favorite charity ones memory of Mr Bowen.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
