Services Held for John J.(sic) Cynova, 72

John Joe (sic) Cynova, 72, retired Loup City cafe operator, died Friday, Dec. 20 in a Grand Island hospital where he had been a patient for the past three weeks. He had suffered from a heart condition for the past 14 years.

Mr. Cynova was born at Farwell (sic), Oct. 1, 1885 to John and Victoria Cynova. He and Josphine Dymek were married July 24, 1911 and he was a veteran of World War I. The Cynovas have been living in Rockville.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 23 at 2 p.m. at the Steele Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Richard Anderson officiated with military rites at the Evergreen cemetery. Burrowes Post 48 of the American Legion assisted at the rites.

He is survived by his wife, Josie, on sister, Mrs. William Wharton of Loup City; two brothers, alex of Columbus and Andrew, who is living in Mexico (sic).
