Death of William Rothrock.
William Rothrock died at his home at Fredonia Wednesday of last week. He had been ill for several days with influenza. He was born at Sharps Mill August 22, 1858 and died February 21, 1923 at the age of 64 years, 5 months and 30 days.
Mr. Rothrock was united in marriage to Miss Eliza Wilkins in November, 1881. To this union were born two children, one daughter and one son. The mother and daughter preceded the father in death. Mr. Rothrock was again married, to Mrs. Minnie Romaine [sic.]. To this union four children, one daughter and three sons, were born.
The deceased was a good father, a good neighbor and dealt honesty with his fellowmen. He leaves to mourn his passing, one daughter, Mrs. Arlie Burnick, of Cheyenne, Wyo.; four sons, Cordie W., Hubert, George and Jack Rothrock, all of Oakland City; one brother, Oliver Rothrock of Wyandotte, and three half-sisters, Mrs. James Bloomfelter, Mrs. Sam Montgomery and Miss Tilda Rothrock all of Owensville, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the home and at the place of interment, the Leavenworth cemetery, Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Services were in charge of Rev. E. A.
