Robert H. Mace, 87, died Sunday at his home in Versailles. Mr. Mace was born Nov. 17, 1882, in Camden County, the son of John T. and Mellinda Mace. In 1911, he was married to Martha Ellen Pilkington, who died in 1949. Survivors include four sons, Wilson Mace, Eldon, William T. Mace, Raytown, Robert L. Mace and George Mace, Versailles; three daughters, Mrs. Clara McCasland, Mrs. Dona Calton, both of Versailles, and Mrs. Mary Burks, Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Oscar Mace, Eldon; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. at 4 p.m. today at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, Eldon, with the Rev Robert McGarity and the Rev. Archie Warren officiating. Burial will be in the Livingston Cemetery near Iberia.
