Sacred memories cluster around the death and burial of the child that has come to brighten the home for a few short Years. At their birth joys unknown to the hearts of others are stirred in the parents bosom, and a world of affection opens before them which they alone are able to explore when death invades the home and claims the child which has become so dear and precious.

The hearts of parents receive a shock such as they never before have sustained, and yet the parent is led to say "Thy will be done", be cause He who knows all things is too wise to err and to good to be unkind. We therefore place confidence in God even though we cannot see and understand all of the doings of an all wise providence.

The death angel has visited this place again, this time to claim little Freddie Asper, the youngest son of Aaron J. and Savanna Asper. Freddie was born Oct. 27, 1896, and died Dec. 28, 1908, aged 12 Years, 2 months, 1 day. Freddie was a member of the Evangelical Sunday School. He was always at his place in the class and seldom missed church services. He leaves to mourn father, mother, one sister, one brother and many other relatives and friends. May the Lord comfort the bereaved family.
