Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow, Wednesday morning at 10:30 am at Walker Funeral Home, Jamestown, for a former Lizton area resident Mrs. Anna Groover, 94, who died yesterday at Clinton County Hospital, Frankfort, Indiana. Calling hours at the funeral home will begin this evening at 7:00 p.m. Burial will follow the funeral at Old Union Cemetery, tomorrow morning.
Mrs. Groover was born near Covington, Indiana on January 18, 1882, the daughter of Joseph and Sarah (Pratt) Coombs. On October 28, 1911, she was married to Ora Groover in Cincinnati, Ohio. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include grandchildren Judy Johnson of Lafayette, John Groover of Lizton and David and Mike Groover of Jamestown.
