Died, at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Feb. 13, 1915, at his residence, 1126 South Fifteenth street, of complications, after an illness of several months, the Rev. Joseph C. Chapman, aged 63 years. Mr. Chapman was a well known Methodist minister and had been a member of the Illinois conference since 1888. His last charge was at Cornland, Ill. He was married in 1873 to Miss Susan McKinnie, and to this union two sons were born, George Chapman, who now resides at Alton, and William Chapman, of Chicago. Following the death of his wife in January, 1909, he was married to Miss Jeannete Temple. He is survived by his wife; two brothers, A. W. and C. C. Chapman of this city, and his two sons. The funeral will be held this afternoon at Laurel M. E. church. Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery. IL State Register, Springfield, IL 2-14-1915
