Dead at Age of 80 Amanda E. Edwards, of Lafayette, colored, widow of Marcus Ed wards, died at the age of 80 Friday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ida Bottom, in Chicago. Her husband died in 1915.
Two children. Mrs. Bottom, and a son, James Reaves, of Lafayette, survive, also three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Second Baptist church of this city. The body will be brought here and taken to the Soller funeral home.
