Marie Crooks
Services for Marie Crooks, 70, of Jena, were held Sunday, March 1, 1987, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. Crawford Coon and Rev. Gary Norris officiating.
Burial followed in the Woodland Cemetery of Jena under direction of Hixson Brothers.
Mrs. Crooks died Friday, February 27, at 7:35 p.m. in the LaSalle Nursing Home. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Thelma Hartley of Shreveport and Shirley Joy of Jena; one brother, Oscar Killar McNeely of Ferriday; one sister, Helen McNeely of Pineville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Lloyd Breithaupt, Tommy Joy, Robert Joy, Jerry McNeely, Bobby McNeely and Doyle Pritchard.
