Calvin Perry, 70, died at his home at Port Colden Tuesday night at 11:30 of heart trouble. He suffered an attack early in the evening but it passed off and his death came suddenly with the second stroke.
He was born in Mansfield Township and had spent all of his life in Warren County. He owned a store at Port Murray for a number of years, until he sold out to his brother Samuel.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie Winters, a daughter Mrs. Norman Smith and another brother, Harvey of Leominster, Mass. and one sister, Mrs. John Winters of Washington.
He was a member of the Mansfield Baptist Church and served a number of years as deacon and as a Sunday School teacher. he was also a member of the Junior O.H.A.M.
