Janes Bernice Janes, age 79 years, a resident of Glasgow Health & Rehab Center, formerly of Columbia, KY, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at 8:40 P.M. at Glasgow Health & Rehab.She was the daughter of the late Frank and Geneva Campbell Stotts and the widow of Clifton Janes who preceded her in death on July 12, 1999.Mrs. Janes is survived by two sons, Kenneth Janes and wife, Sandra and Bro. Ronnie Janes and his wife, Sue of Columbia, KY; two daughters, Phyllis Sneed and her husband, Ronnie and Brenda Jones and her husband, Carl of Columbia, KY; one brother, Bert Stotts of Sparksville, KY; one sister, Vance Jones of IL and one brother-in-law, Herbert Janes of Chance, KY. Five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.Bernice attended the Union Chapel Church and was a homemaker.Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Janes officiating.Interment in Antioch Cemetery.The family requests visitation after 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 22.Pallbearers are: Chris Janes, Doug Janes, Phillip Sneed, James Earl Corbin, Phillip Dunbar, and Kenny Smith.Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
