Mrs. Porterfield, an aged lady, died suddenly on Monday of last week at her home near Clarksville, and was buried at the Deport cemetery Tuesday afternoon.
She was the mother of George Porterfield, a former resident of Deport, who moved to the Rio Grande valley a few years ago.
