At Bridgeport, Conn, last Friday, Chas H Whipple, formerly of Co B 1st Conn Cav., shot through the head and killed Wm. H Adams, formerly of the 17th Conn. The trouble was alleged intimacy of Adams with Mrs. Whipple. Whipple is a victim to the opium habit and his wife had separated from him on that account and because he would not support her.
