OBITUARY.

Lulu Mae, daughter of Johu [sic] Cameron and Lucy Cameron (now Mrs. Robt. Wade) was born in St. Mary's township Feb. 27, 1880. Her father died when she was 7 years old. In her childhood she became afflicted with spinal disease and for the last six years of her life was unable to walk a single step. Her affliction was of such a nature as to call forth the pity and sympathy of all who knew her, and her beautiful spirit and kindly nature greatly endeared her to those who knew her best. She had an artistic eye and hand and left many mementoes wrought by her deft fingers for her friends. During the last few months she had been greatly emaciated and her pitiful pale features indicated that she suffered much During all her suffering there was one ever ready to attend her slightest wish and the patient, loving mother was to her invalid daughter all that a mother could be. Death came at last to end her sufferings Monday, Aug. 24 at about 2:30 a. m. That afternoon her funeral took place at the Christian church conducted by J. W. Carpenter, of Augusta. Six young ladies acted as pall bearers, and twenty or more little girls came with flowers to bestow at her grave. The flowers that decked her casket were beautiful and varied, and the sympathy shown to the family indicated that many hearts had been touched, Her remains were interred in the Plymouth cemetery.
