4 Nov 1955: Benjamin M. Grumbine, 81, Fredericksburg, died this morning at Lebanon Sanatorium, where he was admitted yesterday. Death was caused by complications resulting from a two week illness. Born in Swatara Township, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Rebecca (Moyer) Grumbine. He had lived in Fredericksburg for 14 years, and was a retired farmer. Grumbine was a member, of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg, and the POS of A. He is survived by his wife, Maggie (Lick) Grumbine; a daughter, Mrs. Allen Stoever, Fredericksburg; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Alice Wolfe, Fredericksburg, and a number of nieces and nephews.
