Thomas Webster Aller, fourth child of Thomas and Catherine (Smith) Waller was born Jan 17, 1852 in Adams county Illinois, and passed away at the home of his son, J.R. Waller March 19, 1929. He moved to Decatur county when a child and except for a few years spent in Kansas and Missouri in his early years had spent his life in Decatur county Iowa.
He married Amanda J. French of Decatur, Iowa, September 5 1871. Amanda died August 15, 1922. Two of their eight children, Emma Luella and Alfred died as infants. His living children are Clarence of Archer, Iowa, William, of Norwalk, J. Roy of Leon, Iowa, Clyde of Akely, Minnesota, Mrs. Merritt Reynolds, of Leon, Iowa, and Mrs. Carl Reynolds of LeMars, Iowa. He also left one sister, Sarah Hawkins, of Oklahoma.
