A. W. DAMKE, FORMER CITIZEN OF COUNTY, DIES IN DENVER HOSPITAL
A. W. Damke of Loveland, Colo., died last Tuesday [Dec. 16. 1924] in the St. Luke's hospital, Denver, from injuries received in an accident at his home, when a tree which he was felling, toppled over, pinning him beneath it. He was rushed to the St. Luke's hospital, following the accident.
Mr. Damke formerly resided in Sherman county on the Sponsel farm a few miles northeast of Goodland, and according to residents of Goodland was one of the most progressive farmers in the county at that time. He left here about seven years ago.
Funeral services for Mr. Damke were held at Loveland.
