Lucy M. Dingman, age 79, of Gloversville, passed on Tuesday December 4, 2007, at Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home.
She was born in Gloversville on February 12, 1928, a daughter of the late Harry King and Mae Smith King.
She was a member of the former Gloversville Eagles. Lucy was employed for a time at Taylor Made Products, Gloversville, and after marriage she was a home maker.
On April 17, 1965 she was united in marriage to Stewart J. Dingman and he died May 4, 1992.
Survivors include two sons Richard Dingman of Johnstown, and Jeffrey Dingman of Gloversville; one stepson James Dingman; two daughters Pamela Bleyl of Gloversville, and Carol Harper of Fonda; one brother Thomas King of Sherburne; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a son Christopher Dingman in 1968.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 1: 00 p.m. from the A. G. Cole Funeral Home Inc. 215 East main Street, Johnstown.
Friends and family may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Internment will be in Fern Dale Cemetery.
