Today's News From Knightstown:
A. W. Earnest, aged 77 years, died at his home in this city Sunday evening about 6 o'clock, following a long illness. He was a Civil War veteran and belonged to the Methodist Church.
The deceased is survived by his wife and four children by a former marriage. His funeral took place from his late residence Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. R. C. Jones. Burial was made at Arlington Cemetery.
