Archibald married Louiza Kerns in 1854 in Va., and they had 4 sons. Louisa died after the birth of their youngest son, Charles, and she is buried in Virginia. Archibald then married Margaret Catherine Uglow in 1864 in Chambersburg, Pa., and she is buried next to him.

Archibald Luttrell dead, from 23 Aug. 1912, Paris Mercury Newspaper, Paris, Mo.

Archibald Luttrell, aged 82, died at Dowagair, Mich., Sunday and the remains were buried at Mt. Zion southwest of Paris, Wednesday, the body being accompanied here by his son, John Luttrell. Deceased was born in Hickory county, Md., in 1830 and he was the father of 14 children, all of whom survive him, five living in this community, Henry and Edward Luttrell and Madames Ruth and Carrie (Fannie) Ball, Eva Ashcraft, Mrs. Ed Mallory (Bernice), and Mrs. John Huffman, (Lulie). He was a man of excellent reputation, esteemed by all who knew him.

One obituary says he was a guard at Harper's ferry at the execution of John Brown.
