MERCED (Merced Co.), Oct. 15 – Funeral services will be held Monday morning for Mrs. C. B. Cook, 82, former resident of this city who died yesterday in Oakland, with burial to follow in the Merced Masonic Cemetery. The Welch and Griffin Parlors will be in charge. Mrs. Cook moved to Oakland from Merced about twenty years ago, after having spent the greater part of her life here. She was a native of Kentucky. Her husband, the late C. B. Cook, died about fifteen years ago. A son, the late James S. Cook, died in Merced about twenty-five years ago. Mrs. Cook leaves a nephew, R. W. Shockley of Merced.
