Obituary
Mrs. James Harty, aged 76, of Wyoming, died at 9:40 Tuesday morning in Kewanee St. Francis Hospital where she had been a patient since October 24, 1944.
Rosabel, daughter of Joseph and Mary Swanson, of Wyoming, was born December 29, 1869, in that city and lived most of her life there with the exception of a few years in Peoria.
She was united in marriage May 11, 1893, at Bradford to James Harty, who preceded her in death by four years. Two daughters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Zella Harty of Wyoming, and Mrs. Madalyn Duncan, of Ottawa; also eight grandchildren, Patsy, Rosemary, Danny Phillips, of Wichita, Kansas, Barbara and Hugh Boyd, of Columbus, Ohio; Michael, John and James Duncan of Ottawa.
Also surviving are three brothers, Thomas of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Charles of Seattle, Washington; and James, of Peoria.
Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Thursday night at the Cox Memorial Home in Wyoming. Requiem high mass will be celebrated at 10 o'clock Friday morning in Wyoming St. Dominic's Church with burial in St. Dominic's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 o'clock today.
