Roy Conger
Caruthers - Servivces for civic leader Roy Conger, 50, who died Wednesday, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Paige Funeral Chapel in Selma. Burial will be in the Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.
Mr. Conger was a native of Orosi and lived in Caruthers for the past five years. He was the owner of Roy's Liquor Store. He was the president of the East Side Truckers, a vice-president of the Caruthers Lion's Club and a past president of the Caruthers chamber of Commerce. He was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Edna; tow sons, Jeff and Mark of Caruthers, and two sisters, Dorothy DeLay of Carmel and Margaret Muccianti of Orosi.
