Sister Yvonne Terriault was called to her eternal home on February 16, 1978 in the infirmary of Providence Mother House. She suffered many Years with severe Diabetes. She lost her legs, but could still joke around and greet everyone with her quick laugh, easy smile and tremendous warmth. She had one of the keenest and quickest senses of humour of anyone I know, she loved to tease, but most of all loved to laugh and have all those around laughing.
She worked for years as a head nurse at Providence hospitals in the U.S.A, mainly out in Washinton State, she spent many years in Spokane. The doctors loved her, the nurses loved her, she was strict, took her job seriously and was fair and understanding.
She was a good person, of the highest order. Selfless, everyone came before herself, and she had a heart as big as a bus. I loved this woman with all my heart, she meant the world to her family and those lucky to have know her through their lives.
You've been gone for 30 years this year, I can still close my eyes and hear your voice, and especially that warm generous laugh of yours. You are missed.
