son of Isaac Allen. The three Allen brothers, Ethan, Isaac and Lee, born in England, migrated to France where Isaac married a French wife. Afterwards, the 2 brothers came to America during the Revolution and served in the Continental armies, one as a colonel, one as a surgeon, and the other as a scout. After the war, Isaac moved to Kentucky and settled in or near Bowling Green. He had 4 sons: Robert Graham, Benjamin, Lee and one other.

I sent in some corrections to Robert Graham Allen's FAG memorial, but thought I would provide you with a direct link to the research that I recently completed about Robert's ancestors. You will find that it is based upon very detailed primary records research. The family lore provided by Edgar Ogg Allen is highly flawed, and my research sets the record straight. Robert was the son of Isaac Allen's brother, Lee. And the other siblings of Robet's noted in the memorial were also clearly Lee's sons, not Isaac's. All of Isaac's children are noted in the will of his widow, who after his death returned to live in Warren County, Kentucky, where her father gifted her land.
